Fortunately Ron White was funny so that made it a little better. We actually could not move so getting up at any point if you were feeling faint (guy in front of us had a spell and practically had to crawl out) was not happening. My husband isn't a little guy and neither was my son's friend. The place was packed and we were in like sardines. Went to see Ron White a few month's back and paid a little over $600.00 bucks for 4 seats (actually banquet hall chairs). I couldn't find any place to review just the venue they use for shows when celebrities come to town so had to just use their general site. We have also done the Skyline Terrace a few times and that is fun eating and watching the horses run, which BTW has been cut down severely from 7 days a week to 4 days unfortunately. We love the Final Cut which is the restaurant inside the casino (see my review on that). The slots got tighter, the smoke got thicker and sometimes you can barely find a place to move around. I liked it better before they went Hollywood. We live down the street from Hollywood Casino formerly Charles Town Races and Slots.

The buffet is overpriced and low in quality, when I questioned a staff member if they have a chocolate fountain I was told that it was too expensive to put out. Service at the bar is poor with bartenders spending more time talking with regulars than taking drink orders. I have gone for over 2 hours without seeing a cocktail waitress. The cocktail staff is friendly but hard to find unless you are seated near a service point. The free play offers are a joke and never over $20.00 for my gold card and never over $25.00 for my wife with a black card. The comp program has been downgraded and is reset every 6 months and point value increased to a point where unless you spend thousands at the slots you get very little points.

Payouts at the slots have gone down on all denomination machines in my experience. Do not play the tables as the minimums are too high for us who are retired and on a fixed income.

We still go at least twice a month only because it is a short drive. Have been going to CT since it was a blow up tent.
